How to apply for the Sussex University Scholarships?

Use our postgraduate application system to let us know you’re interested in this scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application form when you accept your offer. You can only get one scholarship from the University of Sussex at a time.

No confirmation will be sent, because the scholarship will be given to all eligible applicants automatically. When scholarship winners sign up online in September, they will see a confirmation that they have won a scholarship.

When should you send in an application to Sussex University?

If you want to start a Master’s program in September 2022, you must send in your application by:

If you are an international student, you have until September 30, 2021.
If you are a student in the UK or EU, the deadline is September 30, 2021.

These are the latest dates that we guarantee to consider applications and you should apply earlier as some courses are in high demand and may close before the above deadlines.

There are also some courses with earlier deadlines. Check our Masters courses for specific deadlines.

You must also submit your application earlier if you apply:

  • without formal academic qualifications
  • with professional qualifications
  • on the strength of relevant experience.

The deadlines are to ensure that there is sufficient time from receiving an offer for you to arrive on time for induction and the start of teaching.

The earlier deadline for Sussex University Scholarship is September 30, 2021, for international students is to allow additional time to complete the visa application process and, if required for the course, to obtain clearance by the UK Government’s Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS).
